Privacy policy

We store account details such as your name, email address, optional phone number, profile photo, preferences, and password in hashed form. We also store the picks, pool activity, messages, reactions, favorites, and other content you choose to submit.

We use this information to authenticate you, run pools and standings, deliver reminders, personalize your sports experience, prevent abuse, provide support, and understand product reliability and feature usage.

Pool Caddy relies on hosting, database, email, sports-data, and monitoring providers to operate the service. The website may measure advertising visits and conversions for services such as Google, Facebook, and Instagram. This measurement can include campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers from the link you used. The Pool Caddy iOS app does not load website advertising tags or use information for cross-app tracking.

Your profile and pool activity may be visible to other members according to the privacy, league, pool, and community settings you select. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Your email address and phone number are hidden from other profiles by default. You can choose to share either one independently, and your overall profile visibility still controls who is allowed to see it.

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. You can permanently delete your account in Account → Security. Deletion removes your profile and member data; leagues with other members are transferred, while solo leagues are removed.

Account settings let you change your profile, privacy, communication preferences, and password. You may request help or ask a privacy question through the Support page.
